The Archer headset system consists of the headset and the appropriate PTT unit. The Archer Set is based on well-known military headsets, but extends them to two-sided uses. Headset and PTT unit are compatible with Z-Tactical, but unfortunately not with Earmor!
The headset is a passive mono headset, it only rests on one ear and does not require its own power supply. This makes it ideal as an all-purpose headset that is always ready for use.
Due to the design with an open housing, the headset has minimal or no impact on spatial hearing, which makes it ideal for snipers.
The headband can be easily mounted and adjusted using Velcro fasteners, the microphone arm can be changed from left to right with a knurled screw, even without tools, which makes the headset universally applicable, whether under a helmet or boonie, over a cap or balaclava or without Headgear.
